Latane Hill

Green Burial Boulder County

Latané Hill is a volunteer for Natural Transitions’ latest initiative; Green Burial Boulder County. As a mother, Certified Educator of Infant Massage and student of early childhood education, Latané has spent many years studying the human process of incarnation, embodiment, and human development, and delights in the work that she does supporting new parents as they welcome and bond with their babies. Latané feels similar awe and wonder at the human transition across the threshold of death, and is curious about how to support the experiences of the living (those left behind) and the dying (those in transition) at end-of-life. Profoundly impacted by her intimate experiences with several home funerals and wakes held by staff members of Natural Transitions, Latané is grateful for the opportunity to help spread the word on how one can support home funerals, green burial and all kinds of “natural transitions”.
