Joellen Raderstorf, Climate Culture Collaborative Climate Action Workshop, is a global activist, community organizer, master-degreed ICTD (Information and Communication Technology for Development) maven and Twitter evangelist. For the last 20 years, Joellen has been working to create a better world for future generations. Joellen has learned so much from the following laundry list of amazing job/life experiences: co-founded and co-directed an activist organization working to harness the economic and political power of mothers on behalf of the world’s children; helped launch a startup using ICTD to bring PAYG (pay-as-you-go) solar lighting to off-grid communities in Africa and Latin America; shared her ICTD knowledge in Namibia on a livelihood creation project; volunteered with numerous nonprofits serving women, children and the environment; and lobbied the government every year since 1999. Joellen is currently producing events and facilitating groups in Boulder, CO to collaboratively increase our collective climate action impact. At the core, Joellen is a passionate mother, life partner, traveler and lover of people, animals and the natural world we call home.
