David Pinto

FoCo Cafe, Growing Project
David Pinto, FoCo Cafe, is an aspiring permaculturist and community activist from Fort Collins, CO. David is certainly not an expert by any means, but is quickly picking up the tricks of the trade through various workshops/courses (including topics such as social permaculture, rainwater harvesting, perennial food forests, and bionutrient farming) and community involvement. David graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in Biomedical Sciences before realizing that he could do a better job of healing people and communities through prayer and by growing and feeding people good food. David’s passion for food led him toward extensive studies in nutrition as well as into activism in the area of food justice. Much of his work is with community gardens and a non-profit restaurant called the FoCo Cafe
