Jay Reynolds is employed by Mile High Behavioral Healthcare and works at the Comitis Crisis Center in Aurora, Colorado where he developed and co-leads 180 Street Outreach, a federally funded Street Outreach Program granted through the Administration for Children and Families (ACF) along with the Family and Youth Service Bureau (FYSB). 180 Street Outreach is a team that focuses on providing services for homeless, runaway and at-risk youth ages 15-24 years-old. Having graduated with his B.A. in English with endorsement in Secondary Education Licensure from Metropolitan State University of Denver in 2010, Jay Reynolds has applied what he learned in the Urban Teaching Program; emphasis on working with and for low-socioeconomic populations, in conjunction with what he has gained from his experience working in the non-profit sector; emphasis in homelessness as it pertains to youth and young adults. Jay Reynolds brings several years of education and experience with him in hopes to build and positively impact the communities where he and his team work. Jay Reynolds most recently and successfully co-conducted his second annual “Colorado Connected” awareness jam for homeless and runaway youth with State Representative, from House District 42, Rhonda Fields and The Fields Foundation. Community Building and Healing is the primary focus of Jay Reynolds whom resides in Lakewood, Colorado.
